The department offers comprehensive structures for student to curve a niche in the field of Agriculture Extension, Home Science and its interfaces within the emerging context. It also captures emerging initiative at the national and global levels in their respective fields. It covers the area related to technology transfer for bridging the existing gap between technology generating centre to users, to accelerate the pace of agricultural development

Mission:

The primary mission is to transform the students through well created conducive condition for high quality of education related to Agriculture Extension and Home Science.

Vision:

To in-culminate the proficiency of students through enthrall innovative plan which pave path for fostering managerial skill to remove the deter with speedy rate of adoption of agricultural practices.

Objectives:

Ø To develop I.C.T based agriculture technology disseminating centre.

Ø To mediate between technology users and technology generating centre.

Ø To act as a state support system in matter such as information dissemination and technology delivery, organization and training of the farmers and providing associated linkages and consultancy.

Ø To establish joint extension/research centre in collaboration with other research centers, and laboratories, extension centers, livelihood support centre and advance facilities
