Overview The department of Rural Management was setup to promote challenging opportunities in rural areas and recognizes, the qualities of innovation and integrity, creativity and commitment, perseverance and professionalism. The term ‘Rural’ which is emphasized in this stream, has very wide meaning, message and magnitude. It includes ‘Service Centre’ also, which in specific sense, are termed as urban-centers. If there is any functional difference between rural and urban, it is only that urban is a causal effect of rural, where as the rural in itself is the root cause. Considering the above facts in mind, the efforts being made to promote the students as best brains and committed professional managers, having holistic view of the development world, by providing them business environment in global knowledge village situations. |

Programme and Courses The department attempts to prepare young professionals through well structured two year full-time distinct post graduate courses as follows. Ř M.B.A. in Rural Management. Ř M.A. in Rural Development. In additions to above courses, the department is also running two programs, through distance mode, titled as- P.G. Diploma in N.G.O.
