OVERVIEW

 The department of Physical Sciences covers a wide range of academic areas dealing with Maths, Statistics, Chemistry, Geology, Physics, Information Technology, Computer Technology, Mathematical & Statistical Modeling, Industrial Chemistry, Remote Sensing &GIS etc. The department prepares and trains the student with Scientific and Technological tools in the field of specialization. Furthermore, it promotes the existing knowledge in the Physical Sciences through research and development program in collaboration with other faculties such as Biological & Environmental Sciences, Agricultural Sciences, Engineering, Information and Food Technology and Management & Rural development.
