Overview

Pursuant to the vision of rural development of the Father of our Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, the Department of Humanities & Social Sciences has emerged as a Centre of Excellence for higher education for studies to prepare dynamic young leaders to take up emerging challenges of rural reconstruction and transformation in the present era of Globalization. We are offering programmes in order to prepare committed advanced level human resource personnel for meeting the challenges of rural life.  The teaching of Values & Social Responsibilities is integral part of all our courses.
